 NPH (N) ReliOn®/Novolin® NPH (or intermediate acting) Human Insulin is often taken before bedtime or when you first wake up in the morning. It is meant to give your body a good base of insulin to last through the night or day. It usually takes 2-4 hours to start working and typically lasts 14-20 hours in the body. Consult with your healthcare provider to determine which type of insulin is best for you. |
