Does the ReliOn® Callus Treatment Cream
contain salicylic acid?
ReliOn® Callus Treatment Cream
does not contain salicylic acid. This acid can damage healthy
tissue near or under the hard tissue. This creates, essentially,
a chemical burn, which may not heal and can become infected.
[Back to top] If the ReliOn® Callus Treatment Cream
doesn't contain an acid, how does it work?
The ReliOn® Callus
Treatment Cream contains potassium hydroxide and 10% UREA,
which gently soften calluses. The callus softens and, with time,
the new skin grows out.
[Back to top] Why does the ReliOn® Callus Treatment
Cream contain an antibacterial ingredient, Triclosan?
Calluses
can bleed, opening up the skin and body to infection. Infections
can get so bad that toes, feet and legs may need to be amputated.
The goal of all ReliOn® products is to help prevent infections whenever
possible.
[Back to top] Why does the ReliOn® Callus Treatment
Cream contain enrichments such as Vitamins A & E, Aloe Vera and
Allantoin?
Because many people with diabetes suffer from poor circulation
and have difficulty healing, these ingredients have been added to encourage
cell regeneration and to maintain healthy skin tissues.
[Back to top] Is this product recommended by Podiatrists(foot doctors)?
