On November 5th, 2008, the Food and Drug Administration issued an official recall of a specific manufacturing batch of ReliOn® 31 gauge, 1cc syringes (813900), which are manufactured by Tyco Healthcare Group LP (Covidien) and distributed by Can-Am Care. The recall is to address inaccurately labeled syringes that could result in an insulin overdose. http://www.fda.gov/bbs/topics/NEWS/2008/NEW01911.html If you have the affected lot number or have any questions, please contact us immediately at 866-780-5436. All products will be exchanged at no cost. We are extremely concerned with this recall and are taking all possible steps to both notify affected consumers and take corrective actions to ensure this is an isolated incident.
